Not necessarily a rat but definitely fishy. They also have "mislabeled" some round objects as Natural Tahitian Pearls... Hope it is just ignorance and not deliberate.

They appear to be lower quality dyed freshwater pearls. I would not buy them.

I think your ripple pearls are beautiful (not muddy at all) and will look lovely with rose thread.
