It's a really dreary day here in NC. So I made a moody necklace with Tahitian keshi, raw diamonds and garnets.

It's feeling like springtime in the southeastern US and I broke out my spring pearl necklace! It features Brazilian amethyst and SOC keshis wrapped in 22kt gold with 18k gold chain in the back. It feels good to pull out pearls in sunny skies today.

I'm not really sure, Doug. From discussions and seeing some photos, I suspect there was a bit of over harvest took place. The harvester applied for a permit and was denied and claimed it was because of nationality bias. I have seen writing on here stating that permits are only issued to locals...
