I have found very cheap ones on Etsy but I assume the quality is not the best. I am not sure of if I need the best quality available but I certainly want to pearls that looks nice.

Thank you all for your replies! I guess it is better to wait. I just thought it could be fun to collect the pearls, one by one and that it would be possible to get pearls which are exactly 10 mm (of highest quality and really "bright" colours).

One day I wish to have a Tahitian pearl necklace (all 10 mm, multicolor in AAA-quality). Would it be stupid (from a cost perspective) to buy loose pearls for this necklace? Obviously the shipping would be more expensive but if just looking at the pearls as such? I don't currently have the funds...
