Haha! I have to agree with you, there have been times where i look "bum-ish" and am wearing over 20k worth of jewelry. Fortunately, people would look at me and think that it's all fake so I be relatively safe. I don't wear such things in risky areas of course.

I have bought a few things from Pearl Source. I was very happy with the purchases, but they weren't top of the line pearls. I feel that if I were going to make the investment, i would reach out to Takahashi Pearl via Instagram OR deal with PP. I don't know if I would trust the higher quality...

I am still a novice at this, but since the drilling is so inconsistent in size etc, I would be shocked to find them as fake. If they were fake, they would have precise and consistent drill holes because the material would all be the same as well as the conditions for drilling.
