In what country did you buy these? Were they marketed as new or vintage or pre- owned? These are not new or from an American market. Your best bet is to send them to Mikimoto for verification. Clasps can be switched out.

I don't know if the CGA- Canadian Gemmological (that's how it's spelled) Association would do this. But, why can't you send it to the GIA? You would have to insure and certify it, but, you would do that if you lived in the US. I would suggest you call them and speak with them about it and...
