Thank you, 86C! The smallest is 8.5+ to the biggest 14.5mm. The total length is 60" w/a clasp (18K). No, it was not from Cees, it is mine :). I combined 3 necklaces I got from Tasaki, Belpearl and Tara Pearls over the time. I tried to juxtapose the similar colors on both sides as much as I...

Gunze thread and my newly found hobby :)

I broke them when I tried to force a needle with 4 threads of B.S. #30 through them. That is when I gave up and returned to a tricky Japanese thread. I'd say I am learning from my mistakes, lol. Hopefully, I will remember I made them and won't repeat them the next time :D Yeah, 36". My first...

Gunze thread and my newly found hobby :)

Thank you, CBP! :) Yeah, it was much longer than I expected but mostly because I struggle with a loooooooooooooong kinky strand at the beginning. I think I restarted it 10 times or more! I also broke quete a few of needles. With hessonites, that I had on hand were no problems, but since it the...

Gunze thread and my newly found hobby :)

THANK YOU, Marianne, Pattye, and BW! I still think it is my inexpereinced hands that makes it dificult to deal with Gunze, since so many real professionals swore by it. But I guess for an ocasional stringer as I am the B.S should be it, especially with an abundance of colors it offers and the...

Hello Pearl People, my favorite crowd! First is my question. I know everybody likes Beaders Secret and I do too! Thanks to Pattye I have it and love it! Thank you, BW! yes, they are too bright and blues are so hard to capture rightly. I will try a different light. I usually take pix in the early afternoon and we have plenty of son here in CA, if there is an overcast, it is in the morning when the light is too blue to show true colors of pearls...
