Need help identifying these two pearl necklaces.

The knotting of only 3 spaces at each end is a Japanese way of knotting. I would be guessing Japanese Akoyas from the 60-70's with the 10k gold. Knots between each is more America and could have been made for a targeted US buyer..especially with the graduation...very popular in the 60's. My...

Pearl Bracelet. What is this supposed to show?

LorenLL Laughing, It might look cool and professional to other professionals...to the "average" buyer it is just confusing. But I certainly learned lots and that is why I put this up... I can see that the desk lamp is really useful, while people who don't know won't be totally confused. They...

Pearl Bracelet. What is this supposed to show?

Wow! That really does tell a lot about the pearls! Thank you so much LorenLL!!! So people can more accurately tell the color & matching (assuming I remember how that works)...It also helps me spot the roundness more easily. I am still laughing about the photo...if I needed an expert's...

    Mikimoto pearl and clasp identification

Before I restring these, I thought these were just normal, but is this a Mikimoto clasp? I think I see the M and then I think I don't. The stamp looks kind of like MK's stamp. It is old Akoyas with really nice nacre and worth saving.

14k clasp indication of quality or what is the worse mismatch of clasp and pearls you have seen and why is it bad?

KarinK.... Looking locally seems brilliant! But there are always people getting rid of things, either giving to charities or reselling in every country. I also recently looked up thread options in EU and while hard for me (living in the US) to find...there were options. Mikimoto uses...
