I wonder if taking photos of your pearls yourself will help you understand the actual colors... I know that my phone leans to very yellow (Could also be my lights too) and I really have to work to get my pearls to photo true colors.

Here is the huge problem: once that coating starts to loosen... it comes off in flakes and it looks horrible & makes a mess. If these are fun for you, I would get a nice case to keep them in and enjoy looking at them. There are glass cases or even antique case on Etsy. You can find Vintage...

I THINK these are dyed freshwater, but they are such an odd shape. I have some others that are flatter & look like Cornflakes, but these are much more 3D. Are they souffle pearls? Are they something else? Am I right about dyed freshwater? Thanks

For restringing...you would need someone who can bead weave and follow patterns. There are youtube & websites...but you need someone who is very skilled. (Most of these are from around your area...not the US.) My US great grandmother made several of these type of necklaces in the 1915-1925...

Fuji Pearl...I don't know much about them. They were around early with K. Mikimoto. They started using a trademark in 1948, Registered it in 1959. So previous to '59 they had a different clasp. It was renewed in 1979. But it isn't clear when they stopped operating.
