Big new baroque South Sea loose

Love those big blue SSPs! Not easy finding them with a nice surface and no fatal wounds.

    Lavender Edisons

I don't think there's any reason to suspect they were dyed. That's a very common shade of lavender. That rippled texture you see, sort of like hammered metal -- It's a sign of thick nacre.

    Is this a Scammer?

we get hit weekly with scammers and fraud orders. Luckily they all have the same "smell" to them and they're quite easy to spot. This one doesn't pass the smell test - I'd proceed with caution.

Pearls as One The New CPAA Pearl Specialist Certification Course

Wow - there is no way you can pass the course and still believe they are Akoya pearls. It's one thing to be ignorant, it's another to be outright deceitful.

Need tips on Cleaning Tahitian pearls after removal from oyster

I'm sorry but Tahitian pearls aren't purchased this way. No farmer is going to spend all that time growing an oyster and pearl only to sell it off site unseen. You have freshwater pearls, no way they are Tahitian.

what a difference a watermark makes...

Lol - you've got a good attitude about it Sarah. I gave up years ago trying to chase down everybody stealing images. I figure my time is better spent elsewhere... Although I recently found one of my photos on Yvel.com - which is a pretty major brand. But I feel for you, I know your kasumi...

    South sea pearls or not?

I'd agree with Pearl Dreams. These look like Chinese Freshwater pearls, not much value here unfortunately.

Lpearls.com warning - they will rip you off - NOT akoya

It's getting really nutty! I'm getting flooded with calls and messages, everybody looking for Akoya pearls in oysters. By chance I caught a Facebook "live" opening party. The host was in front of the camera for over an hour, picking names and opening oysters. She would talk about the rare black...

Who wants to go to BALI?!?!

If you enter the coupon the price should adjust to zero. You won't have to enter a credit card at anytime to "checkout". Maybe give it another go and see if you can get the price to zero out - if not PM one of us and we can probably help out.
