I agree that most are certainly freshwater pearls, both the rice crispie shape and the larger circled ones. Their value is in the fun design. I am not sure what the necklace with all round pearls is. First impression is very loved Akoya with the nacre worn away.

What I don't understand is why it's strange to prefer to go to pearl meet rather than stay with in-laws??? :-)

Thank you all for the kind words! I was surprised of how many loose pearls I had when I gathered earrings and pendant I don't use and a charms bracelet that serves the purpose of keeping my random SSP together. And the charms bracelet is still fully functional. I'll take a close-up tomorrow.

You might want to take a look at Kamoka for that. They use kangaroo leather and it'll hold up for daily showering as well as surfing.
