Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Inspired by those of you who have tiny pearl strands used as chains for pendants, I was determined to make one myself. The 3mm pearls were too tiny to double back to knot at the beginning and end, and the beading wire I had on hand was too stiff looking, so I wire-wrapped 28” of 3mm pink and...

I’m teying to catch up with everybody's beautiful pearls! I had cataract surgery and my vision was wonky during the process, making it difficult to spend time online. Then, I had trouble accessing Pearl-Guide. Now, my vision is the best it has been in 40 years and, as a bonus, I’m now seeing...

The quick links make such a statement with your necklaces. I use them in stainless steel to hang my parrots’ toys in their cages. Too bad I don’t have the gold one to use with my pearls!

The wayward pearls from Cees were finally delivered today. Instituting a trace on them seemed to do the trick and I even got a call from my local post office this morning saying they were on the truck and heading my way. First, Cees glamour shot. Nest, my not as glamorous but still...

The Tahitians from Cees cleared customs in NY in Aug. 8. The last tracking info had them in Jamaica, NY on Aug. 12. It has never taken more than a few days to get to me once things clear customs. I’ve initiated a search with the post office. No word yet.

PD, I’m not sure it would make a good clasp, but I’m considering having a bail added so that I can wear it as a pendant. It is a watch pin. It was given to my grandmother by my grandfather on the day of their wedding in 1905. She pinned it to her gown and from then on, all the family brides...
