12-15mm. They are fairly substantial. Thanks Katbran. The baroque strand stringing is a bit off you are right. Was like that from the beginning. Anyway I'll probably restring on wire (with silicon bead spacers)... find that for larger pearls, wires provide better support and shape.

That is one gorgeous strand. You really scored! I've a multicolor that's strung with either black or dark gray (can't rem but prob black) and it works well. I would prob go with dark gray if I could choose but honestly the pearls are so pretty you prob won't notice the string much.

The stacking rings/pearls are gorgeous!!! Are the rings all the same size or are they each sized a little differently so that they stack better?

I have a strand of round metallic Edison's that is really stunning and with beautiful lustre. You can try asking one of the vendors if they can source for you from Hong Kong. Won't be that cheap but shouldn't be ssp price either. It made me seriously question myself if I still need a round ssp...

Wow, thought provoking thread. I suppose I'll be fine if my kids hate the stuff I collect and I'll rather sell/gift them to people who will appreciate them than saddle them on my kids who will find it troublesome to get rid of them. That said, I'll still be trying my best to get them interested...
