Very interesting! As a consumer I am of course happy for the "low" prices but I feel very sorry for the pearl farmers who have to go out of business and for the ones who sits on lots of unsold pearls.

I now that this is an old thread but I just have to write a comment anyway... The necklace is stunning and the pictures of all pearls from the harvest... all I can say is wow!!!!! Will there be pictures available also for the 2009 harvest?

In what colours are Tahitian pearls available? If taking for example a 11 mm Tahitian pearl (best possible quality), what would be the price for it in the different colours?
