Thanks BN, the setting was estate from about 10 years ago. It had held a not so attractive Tahitian.

The new 17.2mm x 12mm pearl in the old setting is back. I did pay someone to mount it for me. In the end it needed drilling.

Selling this ring when I was short of funds. I want to have a tribute ring made. Wendy is looking for a replacement for the pearl. I will need to find someone who can cast for me. I took jewelry years ago, I may want to try to make the wax myself. Or maybe not... :)

Great question. That would be a great thread. I would see a tan summery blond as a natural golden ss person. Personally I have dark ashy hair and pale skin - a "winter" and think Tahitians are a good fit and balance contrast.

I love the lustre and unique color and texture on this strand. As much as I love your round, matched strands (easter eggs!), there is something so organic about baroque tahitians. <3
