Hi Jersey, that tear drop on the left measures 11.5mm wide and 16.3mm long. The wider darker drop just top right of center, with the other ones, measures 13.75mm wide and 16.3mm long.

Afraid not, the title of the article is misleading and tripped me up as well. I think they are naturally colored cultured pearls. They are talking about (quote) "having no indications of artificial color modification" in the article.

Yes, natural colored! Regardless, it's still pretty nice, wouldn't you say? :)

It's a really enchanting pearl type. I call it very high quality 'Deep Peacock.' Maybe other pearly people here have some other ideas on what to call this very strong purple-green coloration?
