My understanding is that baroque/circle shapes tend to be more colorful for pearls in general. For my blues, anecdotally the more baroque the shape, the more color they have. Same for my Tahitians - the circle Tahitians I have are by far the most colorful.

All the pearls were out today at the southern wedding I attended. I saw some really beautiful ones. For me it was layers of white freshwaters: rounds, baroques, coin, keshi, and seeds. (I didn’t realize this pic cut off my two little seed pearl rings, but they were there!)
