I can attest to their social media videos. I subscribe to Kamoka on YouTube -- short videos, usually showing a single pearl being harvested. It's a brilliant strategy and addicting. I really enjoy the underwater photography as well.

I recently discovered an OPI Infinite Shine color called Pearlcore. It's nice, sheer, white with hints of pink and green.

I've seen rice krispie pearls described as keshi, if that helps.

OPI makes a color called Kyoto Pearl. I haven't used it on jewelry, though.

BWeaves, how about using the mabe omega backs as dress clips, near the neckline? Or as scarf clips?

I agree, you want your clasp to blend with the strand, unless it's Cartier level, in which case you might wear the clasp in the front, as a focal point. I think overall, you want your clasp to be secure. Lots of people buy old pearls on eBay, solely for a pretty, vintage clasp.

I have a double strand that I am working up the courage to restring. The advice here is helpful. Fortunately, I'm not designing it, only refreshing.

How is this pearl still available? I was so sure someone would have snatched it up (but I'm not buying it either, so there's that). They have other Tahitians available, there's a wisp pendant that comes with matching earrings. Fun site.

I, too, am really enjoying the PP live events, especially that Black Friday series. There are more events scheduled, too, if anyone needs some eye candy or gifts. I now understand the value of PP's virtual appointments, and highly recommend the process.

Considering the mm size, I'm guessing dyed freshwater (only because I have some in my collection). Honora did something similar, with the 14K clasp. You might look for a small script "H" on the clasp.

Jewelry and drains are mortal enemies. I recommend a new pearl to represent your new life together as a married couple. Keep the old pearl for sentimental reasons.
