I know Devcon 2T is meant to be very good as Lloyd mentioned. Either is fine I think, I used Acrylic pliers and hold the post and push down firmly for about a minute after glueing. I have drilled holes in a short 2x4 that the pearls can sit in, peg down, after I'm sure they aren't moving.

The Tahitians nest very nicely with the Apatite - it almost looks like they are attached and hanging :)

Well with the price of Gold the past year or so I'm sure most people stock 14k . Here in Australia most jewellery is either 9k or 18k , no one really does 14k . I order all mine in from America. I do love 18k though !
