Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

I am not crazy about the setting, but the pearl was so pretty I had to get this ring. Very good luster/reflection for a freshwater and I love the color. Seller said it’s a freshwater keshi but how is it so round if so? Also, i am not wearing the pearl strands YET but they will make such a...

I like the unexpected gold pendant cord with the silvery Tahitians (I think most would instinctively select black or silver/gray for that cord). And the whimsy of (i) adding the single blue akoya in the mix and (ii) the tiny white pearl bubble in the pendant.

Omg, BWeaves! Another injury - ☹️☹️. I think you need adult supervision. Seriously, though, hope this heals quickly.

What a stunner of a necklace! Earrings too. I too prefer baroque shapes for larger sized pearls. I think once they get past 10-11 mm, round pearls start to look a bit unbelievable/ludicrous.

I'm peeping that necklace, Pearl Dreams. Are those South Sea Golden round pearls as well? Very nice!

I think that’s right. I just like the look of those stacked pendants . . . but I’d probably be taking them off after an hour or two. Will come up with something else . . . sorta thinking they need little bead caps to add a little polish since they’re baroque already.

Is stacking two gold SS pearls on top of each other for earrings too much? Maybe I should get 2 more from PP . . .

And now I will compare all future SS golden pearls to this PP necklace, lol.

Huge for me! 11-13.4 mm for the necklace. 12.6 mm for the earring pearls. I have to find a special occasion to debut these.

Also, the tantrum resulted in these akoyas from Starlit Pearls. Believe it or not, these are not color treated or dyed (or that is what the Seller said!). One more golden akoya necklace is on the way (a triple strand). “Golden” - like in SS pearls - sure covers a wide range of shades in akoyas...

Well, the pearls are just gorgeous. Beautiful luster! They had no baroque earrings made up so I got 2 loose pearls to mount myself. I may need to add other pearls to those earrings given the size of the biggest pearls in the necklace.

I very much appreciate that the pearl show also comes with a fashion show. Great dress (in addition to great jewelry).

I imagine it’s been worn to some decadent parties. So many natural pearls . . . I want to know when it was created!

They are indeed golden SS baroques. And they are sitting on my doorstep right now in a FedEx box. I may need to leave the office early! Since I cannot get gold SS keshi at a reasonable price, I’ve been having a very immature, golden pearl buying TANTRUM (patience is a quality I have tried to...

Welcome to the Lowly Beader's Club

New beads, new color palette! I’m calling this one my “morning coffee and sun salutation.” Quartz, silverite and labradorite. So pleased with the 9.5 mm akoyas. They’re very gleam-y. I’ll likely restring for better drape (knots throughout), plus silver findings may look more appropriate...

What a great color combination on that necklace. The amethyst and gold beads pick up the colors in the pearls but the red coral is inspired.

Well, they just sent a very nice email which made me feel better. I guess my purchase wasn’t in a big enough amount to merit much attention.
