    That is one gorgeous pearl!! My grandmother had some "carnival glass" which was in a more orange palette, but with iridescence. I would love to know what kind of glass that is. Another great post!!

    BN--These are stunning! Somehow it is hard to beat the beauty and satiny luster of WSS! I agree with Hanadama who is always reinventing pearls, that these could be repurposed somehow so that you might reach for them more often.

    Here is my copy of BN's keishi. It was 16" 3-4mm Keishi which I knotted every third pearl. It finished at just over 18". The pearl was purchased loose at a jewelry store in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico and it looked blah on a silver chain. I fantasize that it is my Sea of Cortez pearl (haha)...

    A little acetone on a q-tip will clean off excess glue. I had an earring that was irritating my year and after looking at them under loops, it was the glue.

    A little quick tip... Irwin Quick Grip will allow you to clamp down a pearl tightly and keep the pearl and your fingers intact. Available from your local hardware store or Amazon.
