I think it looks like mother of pearl -- but I'd also like to know what the back looks like. The vibrant colors have me wondering if it's a doublet?

The first photo looks like there's supposed to be an insert clasp but the bead with the tongue is missing. I'll leave the pearl assessment to the experts.

The hallmark T isn't much to go on. It's not Tiffany. What's the mark to the left of the T? Since it's not marked for gold, it could be 10K or 9K or even plated.

I don't think it's a pearl. If it's dense, I'm guessing rock. Maybe a moonstone?

I'm no expert, either. I believe the strand with the pearl stations could be coral or maybe conch shell. Conch shell is often used in jewelry for cameos and beads. If you find out, please let us know.

There are some variables for selling them. It helps that they are 925 and not plated brass. Are they all the same size? Do any of them stack together and can be sold as a set? Also, consider your shipping costs.

I did a quick look around, and I didn't see any loose Mikimoto clasps. Since Mikimoto is known for their pearls, if I ran across a loose clasp the logical question would be what happened to the pearls?

That's what I was thinking, that this strand never had a clasp, not that the clasp is lost. They are not knotted, and need to be strung. With all that paperwork, I'm sure someone will be interested. Where did you see this?

Since it's already been drilled, I don't know how you could strengthen it. The price seems really low for an abalone pearl, but I'm not an expert.
