here are the loops/bands from the GSS necklace. I believe the idea was to avoid knotting , but when pulling off the loops, I found there were still knots on the original necklace.

I was too shy to reply that both necklace were white when I first read this post, so I applied some eye drops and look at the pictures again and again...

Next project ....golden akoya. Four strands of round golden akoya, 7mm. Have waited for more than 8 months for the back order to collect these four strands which are almost same shade of golden, and same size. Cut one strand today and took a shot of the loose pearls.

Found some time today to re-thread this round GSS necklace. The store used white rubber loops in between the pearls. The rubber loops covered the knots. When I bought it earlier this year, already decided to re-thread it myself. Not a fan of those rubber loops. Pearls are of great quality...

Agree That Tahitian round makes the pendant upper part look" heavy".

New setting This is a pendant and brooch. I am going to set this Tahitian round (13.6mm) on it, have a few other same size Tahitian rounds , but I hesitated before applying the glue. What do you think changing to a FWP button(12.5mm)? FWP button or Tahitian round?
