Hi Pattye, here are some pics taken this evening. I look terrible after work, yet the pearls still look as beautiful as they did this morning. The pics are big but the pearls show up quite well.

Compared with a creamier rosy 7.0-8.0mm, I like how the silver overtone comes through

Sounds like it would be a good call to go with more gold than champagne, but I do agree that it's also important to get one that suits your skintone. I'm fair asian (with green veins) but I guess the best way to go is to try some out. My only concern is that everytime I walk into a pearl store...

Valeria that pic helped (Thanks imanit!). I think the freshadamas are going to be it. I'll get the 9.0-10.0mm freshadamas stud, and wait a bit and get the south sea as a bigger-sized drop earring. What do you think? Pattye I'll have my south seas one day... just one day... there're so many...

Valeria the ones I saw today are like what you've described, perfectly round and probably thin-skinned, you're right it's the thin-skin that probably resulted in the lack of refraction and water. I compared that pair of earrings with several of her other pieces and the others really had more...

I envy you... you're proportionate! My boobs are flat, my butt sticks out, so my boobs look even flatter. My head is round, so it makes my flat nose even flatter. And I have typically flat asian hair. Sistas!!

Hi Salem, it was niggling me so I took a few pictures of the pearls for some opinions. I've posted it in my earlier thread. I didn't have to pay customs, did you have to pay a lot for it in Japan? Customs here didn't open the box and the FedEx box arrived in good condition.
