    Another identification 😀

Sure, ABreaker, I totally understand you. I also found everything on the Internet, especially when I was less experienced. Here particularly, I was drawn by the size and I wanted to discuss with all of you about them. I wasn't, however, so interested, so I passed and did not bought them...

    Another identification 😀

Hello to everyone! I just passed by this necklace online. It is said those are freshwater pearls. I actually think they are man-made, but really can't be sure. Now, that annoys me, and if they are freshwaters I consider to buy them. Would really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks ☺️ It is 27...

    New dilemma

Now when I look the photos I posted previously, I understand what you say Pattye! But in live, basic colour is dark gray though. Those must be overtones seen in direct daylight. Thank you for your always detailed answers, I very appreciate them :)

    New dilemma

No, I don't see blue or purple. They are just deep gray, almost black gray. I am adding photos under the cold led light.

    New dilemma

Very Unique Pearls...but I love them anyway!

They are interesting indeed. They prove that beauty is unconventional thing. And really like the combo with white metal and the stones. Really looking forward to hear other comments.

    Can anyone identify these please

Most efficient way, and a lot of old jewellery passed through my hand, is short and gently washing it with toothpaste and with very soft toothbrush, avoiding pearl. After that wiping it with the silk cloth should do the job. Of course, you cannot expect it will be just as new but it will be...

    Can anyone identify these please

It is not possible to get more information than that 😀 It is a nice little postwar japanese akoya pearl necklace. It needs maintenance. If you plan to wear it, please consider washing and restringing it. With knots between each pearl (which I personally prefer, no matter how big or little the...

Necklace and Bracelet of similar small multicolored grays

I also think they would look better and more sophisticated restringed with black silk and with better clasps (3 row clasp for the bracelet). So, if you have time and will for something like that, you could do it yourself (here you can find some nice tutorials), and perhaps find enjoyment :)

Necklace and Bracelet of similar small multicolored grays

Hi! Both necklace and bracelet are made using freshwater pearls originating from China. I really like pearls comprising necklace. All the best!

New to pearls and curious about these I found?

    I would also say freshwater.
