I am trying to decide what to do with so many pearl necklaces. I have been communicating with Pattye and trying to build up enough confidence to attack one of the broken strands. Otherwise I might request some help.

I think I messed up the attachment so I will try again. I may get Pattye's kit to try stringing to other vintage pearls not shown that really need restringing, but I will probably ask for help with converting my mom's opera length pearls ( Lil's Pearls, 10mm into 2 lovely strands.) I am just unable to use my clasps anymore . Must I restring the pearls to put on a new clasp? Thank you

What about a strong magnet clasp? Also does anyone know a restringer near San Jose California?
