Rare Find: Two Pearls in a Pacific Oyster (Crassostrea gigas)

I recently discovered something extremely rare in the North Sea. During a low tide at Regenbogen Tossens, I opened about 50 Pacific oysters (Crassostrea gigas) and found two perfectly round pearls, approximately 1–2 mm each, in a single oyster.
