84 million years :rolleyes: i get its about earliest pearling not about earliest pearl there are however more pearls found at archeological sites think the oldest one in connection with humans is little over 10 000 years.

these are quite extreme colors for akoyas but is easy to see there is always more then one tone instead of the egal colors in the picture you posted so or a lower grade or dyed indeed

sad news ! a supplier told us a little bit ago, we always wondered how they where still standing so it was no surprise something had to happen but to close down was not expected.
