    I need your advice please!

    Oh, those are lovely. Congratulations.

Can an Akoya bracelet be easily damaged?

She could definitely wear a CFWP bracelet with an Akoya necklace. If she loves it, and you love it, then that's what matters.

Can an Akoya bracelet be easily damaged?

Would it be for everyday wear or for rare occasions only? Personally, I would not want to wear a pearl bracelet every day, but could wear one every now and then for special events.

    Suppliers of Pearl Pendant Posts

To add, I have JUST started to do some knotting, etc, and I'll tell you that I did NOT do a good job with assembling my first pendant onto a bale (or is it bail?). Not good. If you've never done it before, I'd suggest buying. In addition to PP, there are many other vendors with lovely, and...

Decision time-- an ombre or a South Sea strand?

For what it's worth, I am drooling over for that ombre. (Oh, I just see that I'm late to the discussion. In that case, I'm still drooling for that ombre, AND am so happy for you for your choice. I know you're going to love it.)

    Pearl Diary

You know, I've not been a huge fan of gray Tahitians; however, the photo from The Devil Wears Prada, and your photos right above, are making me reconsider!

Choosing between a solid Tahitian strand and an ombre strand

Whatever you choose, you will love it. But then, you'll want the other anyway, because you will love that one, too. Tahitians are addicting.

Anyone purchase a high end strand from Kamoka?

See if this link works. I'm hoping it's a link to the search results for Kamoka in the thread PearlDreams tried to link. I got results when I completed the search, so hopefully the link works. https://www.pearl-guide.com/forum/search.php?searchid=1095244 I've bought a few Kamoka items, 1...

I'm not sure I've ever met a tahitian I didn't fall in love with. Gemandpearlover, that combination is just great, casual and yet you'll be the best dressed/decked out person wherever you go. I bought some small, loose, green-ish tahitians to try my hand at wrapping to make a tincup. I was...

    South Sea?

Just to add, I stick with buying from online vendors mentioned here, and have always been very happy and feel very confident in what I'm buying. I don't trust that I am able to do a good job assessing on my own. I've seen Jewelmer's site, but have never bought anything - I can't afford anything...

Oh no, 2 broken bones at once? I'm especially sorry to hear that. One would be more than enough, but two... so sorry for him.

Oh they are. I would never have thought of the brushed metal idea, but talk about perfect! (Maybe that's why I have a day job and am not a jewelry designer, I couldn't think of such a great idea that seems so amazing to me but probably seems common to Hisano.)
