I am a 45 year 'Airline Nomad', and pearl obsessed !
When I turned 18 years old, my mother gave me an akoya strand that had been made from a strand my father brought back from Japan, during his travels in the military. I was smitten at first sight. Since then as I have traveled the world, I have slowly collected pearl pendants, strands and earrings along my way. Keepsakes from different countries. I tend to name my necklaces, as they all have little stories of where I purchased them and how I might have found them. A special way for me to remember each strand, the memories of their origins....their story. It is a collection of beauty, and memories, that bring me joy !
