This necklace is a recent acquisition and I'm on the fence about it. The individual circled / ringed pearls are between 11mm and 13mm. The question is simple... do these look more like dyed freshwater pearls? or golden (yellow) south sea? Size wise they could be either. Either way if anyone ever asks I'll just smile and say they're pearls, but I am curious as to what they might be. The clasp while lovely I don't believe is original to the strand... it's a gold vermeil.
