Pearl Market in Guangzhou

Hi.....I would like to go to Guangzhou to check out the pearl market there. Can anyone tell me about it and more specifically do I go to Guangzhou East or South from Hong KOng? Any tips on dealers would be wonderful and much appreciated.

There is the Xijao jewelry market. I haven't been there personally, but I've heard it has a lot of pearls. I don't think it is as big as the markets in Beijing or Shanghai though.

The biggest/best market would be in Shuji, but that's a flight from Hong Kong. You can get to Guangzhou by train.
