I thought it might be fun to post some tahitian pearl photos and discuss grading. I am very interested in the subject but I have lots to learn, too.

Moved over from "women in power thread" where grading is being discussed and most recently, a question about the nucleus showing through. Here is a doozy! I set it in silver for myself as the other side is fairly clean. Closeness of photo compromises color somewhat, but it is medium grey with a hint of pistachio overtone.
