| I have met Joseph once (sorry, I didnt connect your reference to Taylor). Our guys in Bali know him quite well, although we are not connected to Atlas in any way. The golds in the photo are from the first harvest, which is from oysters we bought. Our aim is produce consistent silver white, high quality pearls. The fancy colours will hopefully fade away as our selective spawning results in less yellow and more white. Next harvest later in the year will be a further indication of our progress. Our volumes are still quite small in the escheme of things, so selling the pearls is the next challenge. When we reach higher volumes we will be looking to wholesale the entire harvest through the larger wholesalers, probably in Australia. |
