Took a while to get a couple of pics of the new office, but here you go. This is the main showroom.

A tempting challenge.

Does your safe have a system for moisture regulation? I guess it is opened daily, so it may not be necessary...

This space used to belong to a bank - once upon a time. It was most recently Chuck Heston's office, so it came with bullet proof windows in every suite. We had the 2000 lb door installed to complete the vault. Apparently the bank took it with them.

The vault is only temperature controlled. It is opened daily so moisture is not an issue.

Hi Cam,

I hope it wasn't for a Brit, that sounds mighty uncomfortable in local parlance.

Never seen a man's ring with a large round, white pearl! Not in a shop, online, on hands.. nowhere! The post hints that the client came with his own design: what was it?

On a second thought, a few ideas come... what might look boyish with a white pearl. Why not, after all.

Out with leather, in with silk. Anyone else fond of this?

The picture is not great and not exactly of the design I was after: one without the enamel panels next to the pearl. It is a black silk ribbon threaded through a large baroque pear with the largest hole I've ever seen edged by gold rims (?)". The 'tunnel' drilled through the pearl makes the thing a bit disturbing and definitely disrespectful, but ... couldn't get the thing out of my mind anyway.

I have seen pearls on silk ribbons somewhere else but I can't recall where. I do like the look. Very feminine!

I do think ribbon with pearls is a cute look! It's more of a costume jewelry type look which works with lower-end Freshwater pearls. The ribbon and pearls look is also great for a more youthful appearance.

As for the men's pearl ring, I think it's very cutting edge. I've just recently started noticing men wearing huge diamond pinky rings. If a man can pull off a diamond pinky ring, he can definitely pull off a Tahitian masculine pearl ring. I think it makes for great conversation!
