i think the overtone on the pearl necklace is quite neutral, i couldn't really tell the overtone as well.

as for my mikis compared to my ring, it's definitely pink/rose vs ivory tones. think the colors were better before i compressed the picture size..

Thanks for posting the photos! They look lovely. I really love the overtone in your mom's vintage akoyas. . . very rosey. But the new pearl strand is very nice too. especially the size!

my mom's vintage akoyas have "yellowed" quite a bit, according to my jeweller since they were kept in the dafe deposit box for too long. they look more like ivory color in real life.
