Hi everyone. I was just wondering if there are any special tips that I should know about caring for my tahitians. I have heard that I should wrap them in a damp cloth, but this seems a tad extreme. Should I ever soak my pearls in water or something like that?
Thanks,
-Stephanie

Yikes!

Please, no soaking!! Wiping with a damp cloth(well rung out) after wearing will remove traces of makeup, store apart from other jewelry that might scratch them, for starters.

Somewhere here on the Forum is comprehensive info on pearl care and storage, try the search, please.

Websites of our seller members, list useful care tips, which are very consistent and apply to all types of pearls as they sell everything from FW to Tahitians, try checking PearlsofJoy, Purepearls, PearlParadise, just to name a few.

so many pearls, so little time

Aha, there it is, in the column just to the left, blue color printing, toward the bottom "Caring for Your Pearls"
