[Lagoon Island Pearls]

Here in Canada, we see pearls from Pacific Oysters (Crassostrea gigas) commonly. Very often they are damaged from cooking or are otherwise highly calcareous.

Rarely gem quality, but always a fun keepsake nonetheless.
