I'm sure, Ennui. Grey is actually one of my favorite colors. However, when I say battleship grey, I mean flat, no luster. Think of battleships - no luster at all. ;)

Thanks again, PD. I looked on Etsy and did not see quite the color/overtones I'm looking for which is lighter, and with a little more color the regular grey, silver, green, black. Do the leather cords look best on younger people or is any age? I'm a bit hesitant as I'm, alas, middle aged.

Do you know of any vendors who have circled pearl pendants? Does that tend to be random and just the buyer purchases whatever they see that is nice at the moment, circles or not? Thanks.

Thanks PD! I agree the half-drilled cap is more attractive. I am looking for my first Tahitian pendant, right now. I have fears of finally finding the right one, getting it, and having it fall off.

Are pendant setting where a head pin goes through the whole pearl, so it is secured on both ends, much more secure than a cap pendant setting? If so, why are head pin settings not used more? Thanks.

What size collapsible needle and thread for 4x6 mm rice pearls? Those will also have 3 mms round silver beads with them. Then for 6 mms round pearls? Also, if stringing cream colored pearls, do you get cream colored thread? Thanks.
