Sorry everyone, I know, this is a pearl forum, but your sapphire ring - if I see it right, it's a sapphire - is tdf!

Andean backstrap weaving day at my house with some weaving friends.

I wove a little pearl vendor sorting pearls.

That's not really what it is, but it's what it looked like to me when I stopped weaving for the day and had only woven 2 inches which amounted to one repeat of the pattern.

Hi Katalin! Yes it is indeed sapphire. The photos were quite dark given it was taken against sunset, but the color is quite rich in person. It is one of my beloved rings and I love wearing it with the GSSP - the two goes really well together.

Thank you ladies for the compliments!

Of course, one of my weaving friends told me it looked like a one-eyed, one-horned, flying, purple, people eater. She's obviously not a pearl fanantic.

Purranha, after the moti ratna pendant created by PP I feel like commenting (pardon for my being nosy), you wear your blue sapphire on the right finger, middle finger. So if blue sapphire suits you you will get the blessings of Saturn

Wheeee! It was cool today. It must finally be fall. It was down to 90F and 70% humidity. I didn't even sweat. Time to bring out the ropes.

PP Hanadama rope and the Hamentaschen.

Hum, I'm not sure what's wrong with my attachment. I'll try to fix it when I get home today. Pretty pendant. Beautiful surface luster.

And today's Kojima Tahitians. They really photograph well.

I hate to say this, but the Tahitians make the Hanadamas look boring. You all have infected me, and I love it.
