    Default nucleated pearl?

    What kind are these? I thought fresh water but under a bright light they appear nucleated. They pass the tooth test (I am from east tennessee LOL) Between 5 and 6 mm.

    They seem too egg shaped to be nucleated. IMO, freshwaters.

    Based on the shapes, as in off-round looking like potatoes, I believe they are cultured freshwater pearls myself.

    Agreed, freshwaters, only tissue nucleated.

    I have some of the first bead nucleated white smaller freshwaters - they are round. And the colour is very creamy. you can see them here - http://www.pearlescence.co.uk/produc...oducts_id=3498
    From the photos yours are tissue nucleated off rounds
