    if you rub two pearls together gently do they feel gritty? If the answer is yes they are real, smooth like plastic and they are faux.

    The photo is a bit grainy, but they look faux to me - especially the first picture.

    Cool design though, first necklace. I think my Aunt Mae had one like it. Hers was faux, really classy costume jewelry though, it looked great with her sweaters. Maybe this was in the fifties?
