    Coco1,

What a great pearl collection! Thanks for taking time to photograph them for us. Always a treat to see the lovely vintage pieces, too! That 4-strand necklace is very grand!!

Beautiful collection - and enviable! Thank you for the photos. I am guessing you have good appraisals etc on your pieces, but there is a lovely member here - Sueki - who doesn't post so often at the moment who would be able to assist you if ever wanted opinions/advice regarding the vintage pieces.

Wow, and I thought your 'ocean pearl' necklace from your aunt (why do I not have an aunt!!) was pure luck. I guess it wanted to join the party

Yowza, what a yummy collection! Thanks for the photos, what a good start. Since I'm still learning, can you tell us what the first group of white pearls are?

Well, I am definitely no expert, what I can tell you is in the first set of pictures,
    a. The first necklace, the one with 4 strands my mother bought many years ago in Florence, Italy at a Jewelers at the Ponte Veccio. the photo makes it look a lot more yellow/cream than what it is IRL.

    b. The third picture (single strand) and the double strand I bought together with 3 other strands from Florence, again at a jewelers on the Ponte Veccio, when I was studying in Italy, and brought them home to be made into necklaces. All I know is they were cultured ocean pearls, and, I might say, quite expensive for having been bought so many years ago.
    c. The longer opera length, was my mothers, and she bought it also in Europe many years ago.
    d. The large baroque I got from my aunt
    e. the larger round strand is also an ocean pearl necklace, which is my everyday necklace, nice but nowhere as pretty as the others, that one was also given to me by my aunt.
So as you can see I don't know that much about them except that most were bought by me or my family many, many years ago in Europe.
