    Default Keishi crazy

I have gone a little keishi crazy these past couple of days. They are so fun because of the odd shapes and color palette.

Here is the first one everyone has seen before as I learnt to tie off (still needs some work though). Lavender and bronze keishis.

Here is yesterday's work. Supposedly 2nd generation golden 13mm keisis and 5mm tiny baroques. The keishis overshadow the baroques, but they also have lovely luster.

Finally, this morning contribution. Smooth 8-12mm golden keishi bracelet. I love the luster. Unfortunately my Mom laid claim to it this afternoon. Took it right off my wrist.

I love putting these together! Thank you all for letting me share.

Wow! So pretty! I would've stolen the bracelet too if I could.

More nice work, maryd! I really like your choice of clasps - so pretty and dainty. And the keshi are all beautiful - your mom is lucky you were willing to "share"

Yes, keishis rule. And if I don't get on re-stringing MY necklace, I'm going to have to ground me.

Lovely stuff, and I'd have stolen the bracelet too!!

Keishi crazy? What's not to be crazy about! If you wish to share the first necklace, my address is ...

Why is the second necklace labeled "supposedly." Is it because of the very square and diamond shapes?

The "supposedly" is because I am still a novice when identifying pearls on my own. The person that sold me them called them 2nd harvest keishis. Her other pearls were just called keishis, so I am not sure why she separated these out differently.

Thank you all for the great comments. I would also love to see pictures of any of your keishis.

It's funny I bought some AAA round freshwaters from TPO and yet the keishis are what keep getting strung.

I think I may need an intervention. Here is a bracelet I started yesterday and just finished.

Ok, now I do have a beading question. I am about to start my first super long strand. Do most of you graph strings together or try to do it all with one string.
