Default Fashionistas, please help me remember the design house for the beautiful palazzo pant

1970s? Bias cut, with the legs so full the model could flip them almost up behind her head as she did the runway.
Might’ve been a whole bolt of fabric in those pants...holiday wear?
    Wear should I look (wink)?

Sorry can't help you with this...only wears jeans...and in 1970 I wasn't born yet (I was born in 71, didn't really care about clothes then except if they were comfortable, otherwise I wouldn't wear them). Hope you find them. Or you can sew them yourself, that could be a fun project.

    Lol, Charlotta, good post!
Thanks Pattye, I’ll look her up! Of course, per usual, these clothes look fabulous on tall thin models (I was neither, but fashion is beguiling).

Palazzo pants were introduced in the 1970s. I wore them. Loved them. But I do not know which designer came up with them first.

I knew you guys could help! Sizzlin’ Hot, weren’t we? Hehehe. I have a 2pc set, but not silk-satin, and the legs aren’t the fullest.

Idk. It’s just not the same, playing dress-up with nowhere to prance off to. Not that I’ve been out prancing in a while anyway, but This is like playing Barbie’s by myself. The dialogue isn’t as sparkling. But! At least we’re still here.

I don’t have a tiara anymore, but I think for shsss and giggles I’m going to give the tiara contest thread a bump.

Interesting subject! I just googled it and it says that Coco Channel first introduced them in 1920’s and Katherine Hepburn wore them in the 30’s along with other famous celebrities. They’re reintroduced by many designers in the 60’s and 70’s! This style still is one of my favorites!
