If so I might just join you in retirement!
This has been such a debilitating year, sigh. The thought of doing more...um, no.

So pleased to hear your Walter is on the mend, and well done for your persistence with the medical system.
My very best wishes to you both

Dear GemGeek, PearlDreams (and God bless her, Caitlin), Jeremy and Kevin - that beautiful Beach Boys song Where Would I Be Without You?
We’re so grateful for you all being our heavenly guards here, words aren’t enough!
Our family came to visit today; 3 hour drive each way for them. I roasted a chicken, we added potatoes, carrots, onions, shi****o peppers to the pan to roast, and our boy brought brownies he made himself. It was so wonderful. Everyone got brave and looked at Walter's Frankenstein head, and were so greatly relieved to see how much better he and the head look. He just told me to sit, rest, and he'd go load the dishwasher and clean up, and I let him; no reason not to. I might sneak off to the ever looming basement laundry beckoning, as Walter is limited to 10lb weight limit for now. Thank You all again so much; I've read every word to Walter and he sends thanks, love, and promises snacks, chauffeuring, and pack mule services when we see you all again soon, by an ocean! MUCH LOVE; more than I have words for.

Oh LOL, it bleeped the Japanese pepper name LOL LOL LOL.
Blaire, try to rest when you can; we know you're here, and are glad to see you when you can, and send love and hugs and wish you a little extra rest now and then! Want some help with that spammer hate thing ... just call me.

Love right back to you, and tell that boyish-looking rogue of yours to rest. It sounds like people have plans for him...might include grass skirts....
BTW, my mouth is watering. Sigh. Bleeped peppers sound promising.
No, Walter. You in the grass skirt. That’s why you have to rest up.

Hahaha. I laughed at the bleeped pepper name, too.
Cathy, tell Walter, that Walter Who says, "Hi!"
OMG, bleeped peppers! That's so funny. It makes me want to go to the dictionary to see if I can find some more words it will partly bleep!
Family time is just what you and Walter needed. Brownies - even better! I'd pay to see Walter in a grass skirt!![]()
Oh friends, I laughed so hard I cried at the very thought of Walter in a grass skirt! Don't hold your breath ladies. Today so far he's dusted the entire house, sat outside for a while, shortened the dog's outside tie out lead for me, and properly diagnosed the awful noises and water on the floor around the washing machine for me. Yes, I broke the washer; I'm not kind to it; but I'm not the one who left pennies and dimes in his pocket ... in a hospital! At least I found the pocket knife before it went through, sigh ... My daughter went home, otherwise that washer would be upside down, and fixed and back upright again. She has a BOY ... she's an expert at fishing out the coins, keychains etc. that end up in there LOL.

LOLs! Yaaaaay, mission accomplished!!! Not to put a burden on Walter, the dear man, but to insert something from left-field. So Walter, just relax, heal, then we’ll see if you’re up to grass skirts. No pressures
Although dang, somewhat undermined by coins in the washer...hmmmm. Rethink outcomes...

Oh Cathy-- I don't come on P-G that much, but when I read your very first post about your "adventure", my heart sank midway and recovered as I read on. I don't know Walter personally, but feel as if I do due to your many delightful posts about him. I am so happy for you and your whole family that he is recovering so well. It is true that nowadays you have to be your own advocate and be persistent. Thank God you were both for him. The angels were watching over all of you. Sending big hugs and love.
