Awww Cathy sorry I'm late to the thread, just saw this, and so so sorry that all of you went through that and super relieved that Walter was finally properly diagnosed after you and your family fighting for it! Biggest hugs to all of you and hope he continues to get better and better and better! Sending lots of love!

UpDateQuestion? Having re-read the thread, it’s time to deck Walter out with something more in line with his nature. And the weather.

    Iiiiiii think - !!!Leather!!!

Wait for it......tsk-tsk people! No motorcycles! Think Daniel Boone. Davy Crockett? Campfires?

Aw, Hi Purranha! Hey, we miss you, girl . Walter is doing fantastic. Released by the neurosurgeon. Released by Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy after assessments leading to "Why is this guy here, he doesn't need us". Me, in the ice cream store ... yelling at him LOL, almost all back to normal around here . Even his hair is growing back.

Lisa C ... um ... I have no comment, except: Walter IS very fond of a nice leather jacket, a good wool or flannel shirt, and ... a big campfire .

No, see, not the cap. The cap takes it out of sexy-space, and puts it, eh....no.

I mean, even when I was a little girl, I felt that cap compromised the look totally.

(Of course, I was a little girl from Albany, NY, so what did I know from Frontiers? EVERYTHING. 5 yr olds know everything.)
But!... no. What I knew was cowboy hats - yes. Aviator hats with flaps - yes. Hoods with fur trim - yes.
Tails mean someone can drag you backwards, Pepe le Pieu, and coverings for not so clean parts.

I really felt someone should have given Fess Parker the heads-up. I was like 5, and I knew better. And I was cool, I had a cowgirl hat and Sputnik cap.

(See, I’m trying to walk it back from having inflicted the grass skirt on Walter. Amends.)
ps I had a bakers jaunty hat as well

So very pleased that things are almost normal. What a dreadful drama. But we all know that IceCream fixes everything that chocolate can't ..
