    Default Coin Pearl Necklace

Are these coin baroque pearls? The necklace is very long at 36" and the clasp is non-magnetic. The pearls have some beautiful colors and are very lustrous. Are they possibly Japanese? Thank you and stay safe. Name: pearl necklace coing holding.jpg

Thank you for the replies. I had to ask because I have found some coin pearl necklaces posted for sale in the thousands of dollar. They are Japanese and made by Cathy Carmendy - so, just had to make sure. Again, thanks.

Well, I saw where Cathy Carmendy has lots of pearl pieces listed for sale. Every piece I looked at said the origin was Japan. There are many pieces, including the coin pearls, although high quality, are definitely from China.

They are fresh-water pearls from China, coin shape strands.
