Default What are these pearls? Got at an estate sale.

so these three strands came in a set and the all had some type of damage to the clasps. I tried to get as good of a picture of the makers mark that my phone would let me. Thanks in advance to any information on the quality of the pearls, I did the tooth test and they are gritty.Name: 20190911_150219.jpg

These are off-round Chinese freshwater pearls in a strands without knots. They're not very valuable, unfortunately, and the quality is not fine. It's difficult to ascertain the surface and luster from the photo, but the lack of knots paired with the shape indicate a commercial quality strand of pearls with retail values around $100 or so.
