Default "We've Got a Bee Problem"

DH planned a holiday cookout for today and invited 14 of our friends. I have worked the last 5 days, 12 hour shifts so this party is his baby. And I am very impressed with all of his preparations. We are grilling out and using the carport off the garage as our seating area. This is nice and we have done it before. It's very hot today and the carport provides shade and I usually plug in a large fan for comfort.

So today as DH was finishing putting up the tables he tells me "We have a bee problem." Turns out there is a ground nest right near the carport. Then he suggests we move the party to my neighbors (our friends) house. I tell him sorry, no. Lol

So after day dreaming of Tahitians I am going to help him set up the garage for the party. We need to move a lot of items. Wish me luck!

Into crisis management mode, yikes; I'm sure it will be a great party in spite of the improvisation! All the best wishes for success!!

Pearldreams you are so right. I am glad DH noticed them or it would have been a disaster.

Thanks for your good wishes Pattye I thinked they helped. We moved the tables under a big Cherry tree and the cook out was a success. The best part was having my best friend's grandma attend. She is 89 years old and has problems with her vision. I promised her a few months ago I would give her a magnifying glass pendant. I finally found that pendant and I put that on a long string of white pearls for her. She loved it so much she started to cry. She is just the sweetest woman who is solid iron at the core.
