Default Abalone Pearl from New Zealand

    Hi
I have this pearl and am interested in whether anyone has seen one like this before, or any comments or information about it.
It is approx 60mm long, about 30mm wide at the widest point. Looks shark-tooth (ish) in shape.
    thanks.

Thanks for the interesting links. Forgot to mention it is 55.8 carats. I see there are other similar examples on the links, will have a good read through.
